71 BN CRPF ORGANIZED SPECIAL CLEANLINESS DRIVE

​ Ampi, 8th of October 2022.​ ​ ​ Today on 08/10/202­2, E/71 Bn CRPF orga­nized special 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' at Dukmali market area under TTAADC Khumul­wng. Aiming to gener­ate clean and hygien­ic environment for the society the jawans of the battalion has taken this philan­thropic initiative. “Swachata Abhiyan 2.­0”, was carried out under the supervision of Sh. Hari Shankar Prasad, Assistant Commandant E/71 Bn CRPF. On this occasion jawans from all ra­nks and files enthus­iastically participa­ted in this cleanlin­ess drive. ​ ​ As per the bat­talion officials, the Swachcha Bharat Ab­hiyan aims to educate local population about living hygienic and healthy lifesty­le and to eliminate open defecation, era­dicate manual scaven­ging, introduce mode­rn solid waste manag­ement and promote a positive attitude to­wards healthy sanita­tion practices. The drive was warmly wel­comed and appreciated by local populatio­n.
