Amarpur, 22nd of May 2025. The indigenous villages of Marua Para, Chechua Colony, Nagrai, TNB Colony and their adjacent areas under Ampi nagar block in Gomati Tripura have attained good achievement for their locality which has appeared as a great boon for the local indigenous communities. The road from Chechua to Nitya Bazar about 5 km distance which was death trap has been accomplished carpeting. Under the supervision and management of Ampi nagar PWD authority the road from Chechua O.P to Nitya Bazar in Killa block about 5 km of distance carpeting implementation has been completed by the agency Kishore Roy. As per the local reports, this road is very shortcut to go to Udaipur from Ampi. An inhabitant of Nagrai namely Radhakunja Jamatia has said, "Our indigenous communities living in Chechua, Nagrai, Marua and nearby adjacent areas were suffering much for road woes in last many decades. This Nitya Bazar road was full of potholes, uneven, heaps of mud, side collapsed and broken. We have suffered much for our daily movement on this road . In rainy season sufferings would be more critical for movement at night. For carrying patients, pregnant women and other emergency cases we were the worst victim for road communication. Now, villagers have sighed relief of road woes." After a long struggle of indigenous people of the areas have availed this achievement at last he more added. It is expected that onward now the indigenous communities living in Chechua, Nagrai and Marua will have a comfortable movement for vehicle and pedestrians.
