Ampi, 22nd of May 2025. With the collaborative initiative of Tribal Research & Cultural Institution and Sub-divisional Welfare Officer of Amarpur a generous Medical Camp has been organized here in Tentui Bari High School Ground in Ampi Nagar block in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of local indigenous men, women and children have assembled here in the programme venue. To handle the medical camp efficient doctors and suitable medical teams have arrived in the camp. As per the report, the concerned organizer authorities have disposed special medical amenities for the lactating and pregnant women in the event. Blood test, sugar test, pressure test, malaria test etc have been done. The health camp has provided free check up and distributed much quantity of free medicines according to the doctor provided prescription. To maintain better health condition for lactating and pregnant women the health camp has provided apple,mango, pomegranate, grapes, banana, amul milk, soyabean packet, bag and hot water storage flux to them. To avail various medical opportunities through this health camp local villagers have been found cheerful and thanked the concerned authorities for their generous and appreciable contribution for the deprived and needy indigenous villagers. Amidst the distinguished dignitaries there were Ampi 41 constituency MLA Pathanlal Jamatia, Ampi BAC chairman Sindhu Chandra Jamatia, MDC Shipsonlian Kaipeng, SDWO Pamir Karmakar, TMP leader Deb Sadhan Jamatia, SDMO of Amarpur and many others remained present in the programme.
