Important organizational meeting of SC District Congress held in Dharmanagar

Tripuraprottoy Correspondent,Dharmanagar: A special organizational meeting was held in Dharmanagar on Saturday to strengthen the organizational strength of SC District Congress. In this meeting held at Dharmanagar District Congress Bhavan, the top leaders of the pradesh and the district were present and discussed the party program and future strategy in detail. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Province SC Congress, Shri Niranjan Chandra Das, the Province SC Coordinator, Shri Manik Chandra Das, the Sadar SC District President, Shri Jayadhan Sarkar. In addition, the members of the Province Congress Committee, Indrajit Pal, Chayan Bhattacharya, the District Mahila Congress President, Manasi Malakar, Congress leader Sangita Das, prominent Congress leader Digvijay Chakraborty and several district and block level leaders were present. At the beginning of the meeting, the leaders reviewed the current political context in detail. To make the organization more dynamic at the grassroots level, how to increase the activity of the workers and how to directly highlight the problems of the common people was discussed with importance. At the meeting, the leaders said, "In the current situation, the organization must be made stronger to protect the rights and interests of the backward classes of the society. The workers must take to the field together with dedication and sincerity." A mass movement must be built by taking to the streets against the anti-people policies of the central and state governments. The fight to protect the fair rights and opportunities of the SC community must be strengthened. "We must also take a vocal role in the proper implementation of various government projects for women." At the end of the meeting, the leaders expressed hope that through the organization's new programs, the SC District Congress will be better organized in the coming days and will play an effective role by standing by the people.
