Ampi, 16th of August 2025. With the initiative of Amarpur-Ampi prakhanda 61st Vishwa Hindu Parishad Sthapana Diwas observation programme has been conducted here in Ampi Nagar community hall in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of Parishad members and Hindu people have assembled here in the programme venue. In presence of many distinguished dignitaries Gayamani Maharaj of Shanti Kali Ashram has inaugurated the event. Addressing the gathering Sankar Roy, state secretary has said, "Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Foundation Day, celebrates the establishment of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, a Hindu organization, in 1964. The day is typically marked with gatherings and events focused on strengthening and uniting the Hindu community. The VHP was founded with the core objectives of organizing and consolidating the Hindu society, as well as serving and protecting the Hindu Dharma. Uniting Hindus and bringing together various sections of the Hindu community. Protecting Hindu Dharma, restriction for some tendencies like cow slaughter and religious conversions as well as promoting Hindu Values. Encouraging the construction and renovation of Hindu temples and promoting cultural and spiritual values, particularly within the Hindu diaspora. On Vishwa Hindu Sthapana Diwas, members and supporters of the VHP reaffirm their commitment to these objectives, holding discussions and passing resolutions aimed at furthering their mission of service to the Hindu religion and nation. They also take the opportunity to remember and pay tribute to those who have contributed to the cause of Hindu unity and Dharma. In essence, Vishwa Hindu Sthapana Diwas serves as a significant day for the Vishwa Hindu Parishad to reinforce its commitment to Hindu unity and the protection of Hindu Dharma and values. Amidst the other participants there were Rabitra Jamatia, Amarpur BAC chairman, Chandan Bhattacharjee, Gomati district secretary, Nihar Debnath, Gomati district president, Shipsonlian Kaipeng, Ampi MDC and many others remained present in the programme.
