Amarpur, 22nd of October 2025. With the initiative of Government Degree College of Khumulwng a career counseling programme on skill development for students under PM Usha Scheme has been conducted here in conference hall of Government Degree College, Khumulwng, Tripura West today. The programme was presided over the principal in charge of the college, Dr. Subrata Debbarma. On this occasion many distinguished dignitaries from different sectors, professors and college students have assembled here in the event and took active participation in the event. The programme has provided genuine tips & knowledge to the concerned college students over food and nutrition as well as cultivation procedure of mushroom production and some additional issues required to cherish their individual personality. Amidst the participant resource persons there were Dr. Maibam Baby Devi, scientist KVK, Belbari, ICAR, NE region, delivered lecture over food and nutrition, Smt. Arati Debbarma, president of Luku Hamkrai Resource Centre of Belbari Tripura West provided essential tips on mushroom cultivation, Mr. Pradip Debbarma, asst. professor and organizing secretary, Smt. Maharani Hrangkhawl, asst. professor and convener of the programme and many others remained present in the event.
