Amarpur, 23rd of October 2025. The Tripura strike called by Tiprasa Civil Society has influenced fully the normal life of the people here in Ampi nagar block in Gomati Tripura today. Based on 8 item of charter demands Tiprasa Civil Society has called this 24 hours Tripura Strike. Today, since 6 am to evening the all shops in Ampi market have been fully closed. No vehicle movement has been noticed on Teliamura-Amarpur road in Ampi. The ATTF & NLFT returnees of TUIPC have created blockade in several points under Ampi nagar block. At the beginning some government offices were open but suddenly picketing team has arrived and forced the concerned office authorities to close their offices and then immediately all offices became closed. No one has expressed anything against the strike. Under the leadership of the Ampi block TUIPC president Devraj Jamatia picketing teams were under control. As per the latest report, morning to evening the entre area of Ampi block was peaceful and no unexpected incident has been occurred in any place of the block. Sufficient security forces were active in every sensative places. The strike will end tomorrow morning 6 am.
