Amarpur, 21st of March 2026. Piping ceremony & conference of all ANO/CTO of 13 Bn NCC has been conducted here in the conference hall of 13 Tripura Bn NCC. On this occasion a large number of ANO, CTO and NCC cadets have assembled here in the programme venue and took participation in the event. As per the report, a piping ceremony is a prestigious military tradition where newly promoted officers or cadets receive their rank insignia (pips) on their uniforms. It marks the official transition from taining to commissioned service, often featuring family members pinning the new stars, symbolising dedication and the start of leadership career, typically in the Indian Army. Sources said, Tripura NCC is going to have a new NCC Academy ahead whose onstruction land is identified by the Higher Education Minister Kishore Barman. Probably it will be built in the Nalchar RD Block area under Sepahijala district, said Col.C Rajshekhar, Commanding Officer of 13 Tripura NCC Battalion. On completion of two-year incumbency, he is transferred to Belgaum in Karnataka and expected to leave the state shortly once his reliever joins. During his two-year relentless effective contribution he was able to increase the NCC enrolment strength in the state. He worked better for the infrastructure development for NCC, inclusive of an NCC Academy and Group Head- quarters. He thanked all the cadets, officers and staff of 13 Tripura battalion, including other companies and stakeholders, for completing the first-ever 10-day CATC cum Adventure Camp in the history of NCC in the state. He acknowledged how the cadets of the region successfully participated in a rough, tough and virtually challenging 10-day program camp held in Gomati district. Appreciating their achievements he more added that It was amazing they have conquered every adventurer's item in the camp, showcased a high level of professionalism and impressed everyone. He has wished all cadets a better professional career in future.
